CSM ROBERT D. PARMER

CSM Parmer enlisted in the Army on 16 June 1988 in Panama City, Florida as a 68H Aircraft Pneudraulics Repairer.  He attended Basic Training at Ft. Jackson SC, and Advanced Individual Training at Chanute Air Force Base, Illinois.  CSM Parmer has been stationed in Nellingen Germany with B Co 7-159th Avn Regt (AVIM), Ft. Drum NY with E Co 25th Avn Regt (AVIM), Ft. Bragg NC with D Co 1-229th Avn Regt (Attack), Illesheim Germany with D Troop, 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry (Attack), Ft. Campbell Ky with B Co 8-101st Avn Regt (AVIM), Camp Humphrey’s Korea with D Troop, 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry (Attack), Ft. Campbell Ky with B Co 8-101st Avn Regt (AVIM), D Co 7-101st General Support Aviation Battalion, B Co 563D Aviation Support Battalion (AVIM), The United States Army Aviation Logistics School (DAST/AALD), and the first Commandant of the Aviation Logistics Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Ft. Eustis, Va.

He completed the Primary Leadership Development Course (Commandants List), the Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Courses, First Sergeants Course, and the US Army Sergeants Major Academy.  In addition, he also completed the AH-64 Helicopter Pneudraulic Repairer Course (Distinguished Graduate), Middle Managers Course, the Heavy PZ Master Course, and the Fast Rope Master Course.

His awards include the Bronze Star (2OLC), Meritorious Service Medal, (1OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3OLC), Army Achievement Award (1OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (1OLC), South West Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, Iraq Campaign Medal with four Bronze Service Stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (NUM4), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (NUM3), NATO Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Army Meritorious Unit Commendation (2OLC), Army Superior Unit Award, Order of Saint Michael (Bronze Award), Senior Air Crewmember Badge, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Drivers Badge.
