CSM Zacchaeus H. Hurst

Command Sergeant Major Zach H. Hurst is a 1987 graduate of Logan High School and is pursing his Bachelors Degree thru Excelsior College.  He is a graduate of the Aviation Accident Prevention Management Course, Aircrew Coordination Instructor Course, UH-1H Helicopter Repairer Course, UH-60 Helicopter Repairer Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Course, Advance Non-Commissioned Officer’s Course, First Sergeant’s Course and a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 59.

            CSM Hurst’s previous assignments include UH-1H Crewchief for 4-1 Avn at Fort Riley Kansas, UH-1H Crewchief and NBC NCO for HHC 2-502nd Avn at Camp Humphreys Korea, Squad Leader and Crewchief for D Company 5th Avn at Fort Polk, Louisiana, EH-60A/L (AQF) Section Sergeant for Charlie Company 2-4 Avn at Fort Hood, Texas, Floor Supervisor for Charlie 2 AMC (AVIM) at Camp Stanley Korea, Technical Inspector and Crewchief for 571st Medical Company and Quality Control NCO for AVUM Troop 3rd ACR at Fort Carson, Colorado, Battalion Safety NCO, Platoon Sergeant, Production Control NCOIC, and Quality Control NCOIC for D Company 2-25 Avn Regt and First Sergeant and Platoon Sergeant for B Company 2-25 Avn Regt, and First Sergeant D Company 2-25 Avn Regt, First Sergeant Company B 209th Aviation Support Battalion and Command Sergeant Major for 209th ASB, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Battalion Sergeant Major for 1-337th Avn Regt (TS) at Fort Knox, KY, Command Sergeant Major for 277th ASB, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (LI) and as Command Sergeant Major for 4-227th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas.
