Command Sergeant Major Steven DiGeorgio

Command Sgt. Maj. Steven DiGeorgio entered into the U.S. Army in April 1992 and attended the UH-1H Utility Helicopter Repairer Course.

He was previously assigned as a UH-1H crew chief for D Company, 8-158th Aviation Regiment in Wiesbaden, Germany; Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Platoon Sergeant for D Company, 6-101st Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Technical Inspector for D Company, 2-25 Aviation Regiment at Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii; Platoon Sergeant for the 542nd Medical Company (Air Ambulance) Camp Page, Korea; Instructor for the NCO Academy at Fort Rucker Georgia, Platoon Sergeant for the 123th AVN Company at Fort Wainwright Alaska, First Sergeant for B Troop, 6-7th CAV in Fort Wainwright Alaska, First Sergeant for HHC 223rd AVN Regiment in Fort Rucker, Alabama, Division Chief for 1st Battalion, 128th AVN Regiment in Fort Eustis Virginia, and CSM for 3rd Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade in Fort Carson, Colorado.

CSM DiGeorgio has completed the UH-60 Helicopter Repairer Course, Air Assault Course, Basic Mountaineering Survival Course, and all levels of the NCO Education system. He received his Master of Science in Accounting and Information Technology from the University of Maryland, University College.

CSM DiGeorgio’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with 11 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal – 8thAward, National Defense Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Iraq Campaign Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with seven Oak Leaf Clusters, Meritorious Unit Citation with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Action Badge, Master Aviation Crewmember Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Drivers Badge. He is the recipient of the German Proficiency Badge in gold, and the Order of Saint Michael in bronze.
