 Supporting the Climb!

Welcome to the 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade, home of the finest Sustainment Brigade in the world, the Muleskinners!  I look forward to you joining the Muleskinner team. Our task organization consists of Soldiers from the 10th Headquarters Special Troops Battalion (HSTB), 548th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB), and the 63rd Explosive Ordnance Battalion (EOD).

Fort Drum has some of the best facilities in the Army including an indoor range, new library and education center, new post theater, PX and Commissary complex, indoor pools and gymnasiums with great fitness equipment, and more.  This area has some of the best schools in the country and Fort Drum has excellent on-post housing.  However, due to the number of Soldiers arriving at Fort Drum housing is currently limited.  New on post quarters are currently under construction so please be prepared to live off post until they are complete.  Our Family Readiness Groups are very active and provide a valuable link to our North Country partners.

We have a long and proud history that began on Riva Ridge, Italy in World War II and continues to this day. Without doubt, the 10th Mountain Division is always on the move with exercises and deployments.  This year will be one of the busiest in our modern history, which means it has the potential to be the most memorable and rewarding.  We take great pride within the Sustainment Brigade for providing the Division with premier Sustainment and Maneuver Enhancement Support.  It takes a TEAM to make it happen.  We’re anxious to have you on our TEAM!

Please take the time to review the welcome packet your battalion will send in the future and see first hand the great opportunities that await you at Fort Drum. Please feel free to contact the 10th Sustainment Brigade S-1, with any questions or concerns at (315) 772-3247 or at (315) 772-2358. We look forward to your arrival!
