Command Sergeant Major

Sergeant Major Russell Erickson entered the United States Army in June 1965 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort McClellan, Alabama where he was trained as a Military Policeman.

Sergeant Major Erickson duty assignments include:  142nd Military Police Company, Youngsan, Korea; 463rd Military Police Company and Military Police Activity, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; 55th Military Police Company, Bupyoung, Korea; 978th Military Police Company and Center Military Police Company, Fort Bliss, Texas; E Battery 1st  Battalion 22nd Field Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; 170th Military Police Company and 504th Military Police Battalion, Fort Lewis, Washington; 127th Military Police Company, Hanau, Germany; 230th Military Police Company, Kaiserslautern, Germany; 95th Military Police Battalion and 18th Military Police Brigade, Mannheim, Germany; 42nd Military Police Brigade and 504th Military Police Battalion, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington

Sergeant Major Erickson has attended all levels of the Noncommissioned Offers Education System, culminating with the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy class 35.  Sergeant Major Erickson is also a graduate of the following military courses:  Command Sergeants Major Force Management Course, Battalion Pre-Command and Command Sergeants Major Course, Senior NCO Safety Course, Company Commander/First Sergeant Course, Anti Terrorism/Force Protection Course, First Sergeant Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, NBC Course, Drill Sergeant School, Air Assault School, Traffic management and Accident Investigation, and the Conventional Physical Security Course.  Sergeant Major Erickson is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree with Grantham University.
