Command Sergeant Major Todd A. Brown entered the Army in November 1986. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Belvoir, Virginia becoming a Utilities Equipment Repairer (52C).

He has one deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Over his career, Command Sergeant Major Brown served in leadership positions including Section Sergeant, Motor Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant, Chief Instructor/Writer and Operations Sergeant Major. His military education includes: the Primary Leadership Development Course; Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course; Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course; First Sergeant’s Course; Air Assault Course; Instructor Training Course; Small Group Instruction Course; Drill Sergeant School; Master Fitness Trainer Course; the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course; the Army Profession and Ethics Trainer Course; and the United States Army Sergeants Major Course class #62. He attained an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Applied Technology from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
