Command Sgt. Maj. Larry H. White II 

CSM White entered the United States Army on November 3, 1987.  He attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, VA as a Material Storage and Handling Specialist.  He was later reclassified to an Automated Logistical Specialist.

CSM White has served in numerous leadership positions to include: Squad Leader, Material Storage and Handling Sergeant, TAMMS/PLL Supervisor, Material Management NCO, Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Reposturing the Force Sergeant Major and the Supply and Services Sergeant Major.  His most recent assignment was serving as the Material Readiness Division Sergeant Major for the G4, 25th Infantry Division.

His stateside assignments include 704th Support Battalion, Fort Carson, Colo.; 530th Maintenance Company; 4th Squadron, 16th Cavalry; 5th Squadron, 15th Cavalry, and 1st Battalion, 46th Infantry Regiment, Fort Knox, Ky.; 25th Infantry Brigade Support Battalion, 25th Infantry Division, and Regimental Support Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Fort Lewis, WA.

His overseas assignments include 299th Support Battalion, Federal Republic of Germany; 1/52nd Aviation Battalion, Seoul   Korea; 602nd Aviation Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; Regimental Support Squadron, 2nd Striker Cavalry Regiment, Germany; HHBN, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.  He has deployed to Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom III, OIF 07-09, and Operation New Dawn.

His military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Drill Sergeant Course, the Support Operations Course, the Sergeants Major Academy and the Operational Contracting Course.

CSM White’s awards and decoration include: the Bronze Star (2OLC), the Meritorious Service Medal (3OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (12OLC), the Army Valorous Unit Award, the Army Superior Unit Award, the Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (w/Numeral 4), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (w/Numeral 7), the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Driver Badge, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, the Combat Action Badge, and is a member of the Order of Saint Martin.
