CPT Chamberlain enlisted in the United States Army in August 1988 and graduated from One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Harmony Church, Fort Benning, Georgia.  CPT Chamberlain has been assigned as an Infantryman in the 2nd BN, 16th IN, 1st INF DIV at Fort Riley, Kansas; Team Leader in the 1st BN, 4th IN (OPFOR), Combat Maneuver Training Center at Hohenfels, Germany; Squad Leader in the 1st BN, 327th IN, 101st ABN DIV (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Ranger Instructor in the 6th Ranger Training Battalion at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. 

CPT Chamberlain earned his commission through the Officer Candidate School in December 2004.  He graduated Infantry Officer Basic Course in May 2005.  Captain Chamberlain reported to Fort Richardson, Alaska and was assigned as an Assault Platoon Leader in Delta (Heavy Weapons) Company in May 2005.  In January 2006, CPT Chamberlain was reassigned as the Executive Officer of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion 501st Infantry (Airborne) where he remained until May 2008.  CPT Chamberlain graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Business Administration Management degree in May 2009 and graduated from the Armor Maneuver Captains Career Course, in Fort Knox, KY in December of 2009.  CPT Chamberlain was assigned to 2-14 Infantry in January 2010 and deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom in February 2010 as the Battalion Assistant S-3 (Air and Plans).

CPT Chamberlain is a graduate of WLC, SLC, ALC, IOBC, MCCC, Air Assault, Ranger, Airborne and Jumpmaster Schools, and Pathfinder and the Combat Diver Qualification Courses.

CPT Chamberlain’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (SOLC), 2nd Award Combat and Expert Infantryman’s’ Badges and the Canadian Airborne Wings.

1SG Barker enlisted in the United States Army in August, 1995.  1SG Barker has served as a Cannon Crew Member with 1-82 FA, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood Texas and a RTO with 2-17 FA, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Hovey Korea.  In June of 1998, 1SG Barker reclassed to 11B and completed Infantry AIT with 1-19 IN at Fort Benning GA.  1SG Barker has since been assigned as a team leader with 1-4 IN, Combat Maneuver Training Ceneter in Hohenfels Germany; General’s Driver with 7th Army Training Command in Grafenwoehr, Germany; Rifle Team Leader, Rifle Squad Leader, Heavy Weapons Section Sergeant and Platoon Sergeant with 4-31 IN, 10th Mountain Division and Senior Small Group Leader with the Non Commissioned Officer Academy at Fort Drum NY.

1SG Barker is a graduate of Warrior Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Mountain Leader Advanced Rifle Marksmanship and the Army Basic Instructor Courses.
