STEER CLEAR OF CLASSIFIED AD RENTAL SCAMS!
Recent rental advertisements on Craigslist, and possibly elsewhere, have turned out to be scams. Be wary of advertisements for local rental properties posted by distant landlords. A recent scam requests that prospective tenants send a deposit by mail in exchange for a key to the property. Never send money to someone prior to verification that they are a legitimate landlord.

Soldiers with Permissive TDY for house hunting must have DA Forms 31 validated at the Welcome Home Center during normal business hours or the Fort Drum Inn during nights and weekends.

Feel free to use our Self Help Center in Clark Hall which has a computer, phone, printer and FAX machine available to research and contact rental properties.
