ORGANIZATION AND STRUCTURE:  The Command Safety Office is a special staff office to the Commanding General.  It is structured to serve the "total" mission.

The major branches of the office are: 

  • BASOPs (power projection)

  • MILOPs (force protection)

  • Aviation Safety

  • Administration

VISION:  The 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and Fort Drum Safety Program is the tool for maximizing the effectiveness of the division and installation mission through pro-active accident prevention and risk management  processes during peacetime and wartime.
