Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation

Fort Drum is the Army’s best-kept secret with amazing programs and facilities for Soldiers and the Army Family. One of the jewels of Fort Drum is Remington Park, located on beautiful Remington Pond.

Now open for the season, Remington Park is Fort Drum's premier recreational facility, featuring pavilions with barbecue grills, electricity and picnic tables available to rent for your next outdoor event.

Remington Pond is stocked yearly for catch-and-release fishing, and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, and biking and hiking trails can get you moving. Lifeguards are on duty daily at the beach area, which offers a beach house, swimming, and paddleboat and kayak rentals.

Adirondack-style lodge facilities are available to rent for gatherings of up to 150 people and feature wrap-around decks, stone fireplaces and kitchen facilities.

Camping is offered at the Remington Park RV Campground and cabins are available for rent, each featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, sitting room and sleeping accommodations for up to six.

With all of this and more, Remington Park is ready and waiting for the Army Family to enjoy summer on Fort Drum. For information on Remington Park rentals and activities, call 772-8222.
