CLAYTON – The Thousand Islands Performing Arts Fund will present magician and illusionist Mike Super at 7:30 p.m. today at the Clayton Opera House.

Audience members may recognize Illusionist Mike Super as NBC's Phenomenon Grand Prize Winner. He is headlining and filling concert halls across the country, while co-headlining with acts like Hall of Fame comedian Louie Anderson and American Idol Runner-Up Chris Daughtry.
This will be Mike Super's second appearance at the Clayton Opera House, having performed here during the 2011 summer season.
Mike Super began creating magic when he was 6 years old. Known for reaching audiences of all ages with his personality and humor, he entertains with an interactive magic show that often involves levitating audience members, creating snow with his bare hands, and breathing “life” into paper to make it dance. His performance is a theatrical experience with digital music, comedy, lighting, magic and illusion.
Super is member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians.
He has entertained celebrities such as Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers and Robin Leach, and he has won national awards, including the Best Live Novelty Performance, America’s Best Entertainer of the Year and Performing Arts Entertainer of the Years.
"My life since winning Phenomenon has been exciting,” he said. “I have traveled the world, got to meet great people, but will never forget the fans that show up for my shows. I do this for them.
“I have always insisted that I appear at a ‘meet and greet’ after every performance,” he added. “There is nothing better than meeting everyone that saw my performance.”
The Clayton Opera House is located at 405 Riverside Drive in Clayton. Box ofﬁce hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and one hour before all performances.
