CLAYTON – Sam Hopkins and his All Friends Band are back for the 2nd annual Tunes for Turkey Revue to benefit the local food pantry.
The show will feature Kingston’s best new blues band of 2013, The Roosevelts with Lisa Vee. Performing at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Clayton Opera House, Sam and all of the performers are donating their time and talent to raise awareness and funds for the local food pantry.
This year’s Tunes for Turkey Revue also will feature a special Turkey Song, organized by Julie Broadbent and performed by children from Guardino Elementary School in Clayton. Special guest appearances by Erin Greene and Bev Azar are also planned.
Last year the show raised more than $1,100, which helped the food pantry provide turkeys for the holidays and other much needed support to those in need.
Tickets are $15 for all ages. Tickets may be purchased at the Clayton Opera House Box Office, by calling 686-2200 or by visiting www.claytonoperahouse.com.
The Clayton Opera House is located at 405 Riverside Drive. Box office hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and one hour before all performances.
