North Country Spouses Club announces scholarship applications now accepted


The North Country Spouses’ Club is now accepting applications for its 2014 college scholarship.
The deadline for submissions is March 31.
Eligible individuals are spouses and children of active-duty, reserve or retired active-duty military members (officer or enlisted) who will be enrolled in a full- or part-time accredited degree program during the 2014-15 academ-ic year (fall and spring terms).
Applicants or their military sponsors must reside in the Fort Drum area or associated communities.
Individuals who will attend a service academy or who accept any other full scholarship are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.
Scholarships are based on schol-astic merit and community involvement. Race, color, sex, na- tional origin or financial need will not influence the selection.
