Organizers announced Tuesday that country music acts Chris Cagle and Gloriana will headline this year’s Mountainfest concert June 25 on Division Hill at Fort Drum.
Since 2000, Cagle has released two gold albums and two No. 1 albums. He holds a dozen or so chart-topping singles, including “Chicks Dig It,” “What Kinda Gone” and the No. 1 smash hit “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out.”
Gloriana is an award-winning country vocal trio formed in 2008 and best known for songs such as “Wild at Heart” and “(Kissed You) Good Night.”
In addition to the two major national acts, a New York-based band called Scars N’ Stripes will perform.
The free event is made possible through AmeriCU Credit Union and additional sponsorship from Lockheed Martin, Martin’s Point, Carthage Area Hospital, FX Caprara and the USO Fort Drum. (Sponsorship does not imply endorsement.)
Organizers projected attendance to surpass last year’s concert, which drew more than 20,000 to watch country music star Craig Morgan perform on post.
Mountainfest is open to the public.
The concert will conclude with a fireworks display.
