Battalions schedule changes of command, responsibility


The 10th Combat Action Brigade has announced the following changes of command and responsibility in the coming week. All ceremonies will take place at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield:
*Command Sgt. Maj. Peter J. Garretson III will relinquish responsibility of 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, to 1st Sgt. Sean D. Holland during a ceremony at 4 p.m. today in the 3-10 GSAB hangar.
*Lt. Col. Anthony A. Meador will relinquish command of 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, to Lt. Col. Mark S. Lent, during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday in the 2-10 Aviation hangar.
*Lt. Col. Chad E. Ward will relinquish command of 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, to Lt. Col. Todd G. Thornberg during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Monday in the 2-10 Aviation hangar.
*Lt. Col. Erick W. Sweet II will relinquish command of 6th Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, to Lt. Col. Hoby F. Cupp, during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the 2-10 Aviation hangar.
*Lt. Col. Enrique J. Ortiz, Jr. will relinquish command of 277th Aviation Support Battalion, to Lt. Col. James P. Velesky during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Tuesday at 2-10 Aviation hangar.
*Lt. Col. Matthew W. Braman will relinquish command of 2nd Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, to Lt. Col. Nomathembi Martini during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 2-10 Aviation hangar.
