10th Mountain Division Soldiers Assume authority in Afghanistan

 

Fort Drum, NY - The 10th Sustainment Brigade Headquarters uncased its brigade colors November 1st. The brigade held its transfer of authority from the 101st Sustainment Brigade at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Elements of the 10th Sustainment Brigade Troop Battalion and the 7th Engineer Battalion will be responsible for a wide variety of support services to units across Regional Command East, North and Central.

 

More than 750 members of the 10th Sustainment Brigade are currently in Afghanistan serving a 12 month tour in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
