Fort Drum, NY - Fort Drum has recently increased security measures here as part of a world-wide response to a possible increased threat.

THERE HAS BEEN NO SPECIFIC THREAT MADE TO FORT DRUM.

However, it's now time that our communities both on and off post are reminded that every individual serves as one of our top defenses as we maintain our safety vigilance here at home.

Keep your eyes and ears open! If you see something that doesn't look right, doesn't pass the common sense test, or just plain seems like something worth checking out - DO NOT PASS IT BY!

There are a number of different resources available for reporting suspicious activity:

Fort Drum - call our direct, anonymous hotline at (315) 774-TIPS (8477).

Safe New York - 1-866-SAFE-NYS

Jefferson County Sheriff's Department - (315) 788-1441

Please note, any emergencies should be reported by calling 911.
